Fr. Steve Teague
Father Steve Teague has been leading the St. Paul’s congregation since October 7, 2007. He and his wife, Karen, came to St. Paul’s from Lexington, KY.
Fr. Steve was educated and ordained as a Baptist minister in 1973 and he became an Episcopal priest in 2000. Since then, he has served as Associate Rector at St. James Parish, Wilmington, NC, and Rector of St. Michael the Archangel in Lexington, KY. Before coming to St. Paul’s, he served as Interim Rector at St. Hubert’s Church, also in Lexington. He also has served as Coordinator of Bereavement and Spiritual Service at a Goldsboro, NC, hospice.
Fr. Steve enjoys talking with people about spiritual and faith concerns and issues. He also enjoys bike-riding by the lake (weather permitting), walking, jogging, golf and reading. He is a Life and Executive Coach and works with individuals and groups as requested. You can call the church and make an appointment with him about St. Paul’s or talk about faith issues most days of the week but Friday is the typical Sabbath Day for Fr. Steve.
Karen Teague is a massage and Reiki therapist with a practice in Bayview.
