“Gratitude is the overarching theme of stewardship at St. Paul’s,” St. Paul’s Stewardship co-chairs Jennifer and André Williams wrote in this month’s Apostle newsletter. “Embracing Stewardship as a way of life means that we seek to become ever more grateful for all that we are and all that we have. Indeed, the only response we can make to God for gifts received is a response of love, a love born of gratitude.”
As we embrace stewardship as a way of life at St. Paul’s, we are all encouraged to spend time contemplating the many gifts God has given us. That’s certainly been the case as we’ve heard expressions of gratitude for God’s love, for St. Paul’s and for each other from members of our community speaking at recent services.
Now, Stewardship season culminates this Sunday, November 20th with Commitment Sunday. As an expression of our gratitude, lay leadership and parish members will be invited to bring forth their completed pledge cards for blessing during the service.
In the event you are not at the November 20th service, please turn in your completed pledge card via the mail, or in the offertory basket. We are grateful for your participation.
