Playing before a full church last Saturday afternoon, eight of Milwaukee’s finest organists delighted listeners with an incredible variety of wonderful pieces ranging from Bach to Demessieux, Gigout to Benoit, and Howells to Hancock. A spectacular transcription of Debussy’s Children’s Corner, brilliantly played and demonstrating every color of the magnificent new Schantz pipe organ capped the afternoon’s festivities.
