African-Heritage Month at St. Paul’s

During the month of February the Adult Christian Education sessions and a festive luncheon are planned to celebrate African-Heritage Month at St. Paul’s Church.

The Christian Education sessions will begin each Sunday at 9AM. On February 14, Marie Newby-Randle and Kathy Thome will do a presentation on The Heritage of African-American Music; February 21, Bevan K. Baker, FACHE, Commissioner of Health for the City of Milwaukee, will discuss Health Issues Impacting the African-American Community; February 28, will feature a panel of African-American City of Milwaukee police officers who will share their thoughts on Partnering on Issues that Impact the Minority Community.

The festive luncheon, hosted by the African-American members of St. Paul’s, will be held in the Great Hall on February 28, following the 10:15AM Eucharist.  All members are invited to also bring dishes, of African-American tradition, if possible.
